Gypsy Rose
Blanchard, who is clearing things up for fans skeptical about the timeline of
her surprise pregnancy, stated, "It was mid-March when I left Ryan, so
this is absolutely 100% Ken's baby. There was never any question of
paternity."
Gypsy filed to divorce Ryan Anderson less than four months before announcing her pregnancy with rekindled flame Ken Kker. Complicating matters is a wild Louisiana paternity law.
In Louisiana, if a party has been divorced for less than 300
days and a child is born within that window, the ex-husband is legally presumed
to be the father of that child. It's important to note Gypsy's divorce from
Ryan isn't even finalized yet.
The parties have a few options for establishing the biological father after the child is born. He can file an avow action to establish paternity, which must be done through clear and convincing evidence, usually a DNA test.
If this is not done right
away, there is a strong possibility that the husband's last name could end up
on the birth certificate. There is a little time after the baby's birth to
finalize the birth certificate, so this could probably be resolved relatively
quickly.
On GMA, the 32-year-old, who is still living with her dad and stepmom (not Ken), said she's already in nesting mode and plans to keep her baby out of the spotlight. Her full interview airs tonight on Nightline.
When asked how she plans to tell her
child about her own childhood and her role in her mother's murder, she said,
"Ken and I will sit down and have that conversation and I will explain in
the most honest way possible."
Another first-time mama-to-be, Margot Robbie, was glowing and cradling her baby bump. She served up some super chic maternity style at Wimbledon. Meanwhile, Henry Cavill was out with his girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso. Cavill gave fans a glimpse of their nursery prep last month.
When asked how he is enjoying this stage of his life,
he said, "I'm enjoying this stage of my life very much. I have a real
sense of approaching everything with more direction now, and I'm going to focus
on enjoying it."
