Robert Pattinson in Talks to Star
Opposite Jennifer Lawrence in Psychological Thriller "Die, My Love"
Hollywood, CA - Robert Pattinson, fresh off his critically acclaimed performance as
Batman, is reportedly in negotiations to join Jennifer Lawrence in the upcoming
psychological thriller "Die, My Love." The film will mark the
directorial comeback of Lynne Ramsay, known for her award-winning work on
"Ratcatcher," after a seven-year hiatus.
Directed by Ramsay from a script she co-wrote with Enda Walsh,
"Die, My Love" follows a mother (played by Lawrence) battling
psychosis in a remote rural area. The film promises to be an intense
exploration of mental health, helmed by a visionary director.
This potential collaboration would be a first for both
Pattinson and Lawrence. Details surrounding Pattinson's character are yet to be
revealed, but his involvement alongside Lawrence has already sparked excitement
among fans. Furthermore, "Die, My Love" boasts the producing power of
Martin Scorsese, adding another layer of prestige to the project.
This news comes as both Pattinson and Lawrence have busy slates. Pattinson is gearing up for the release of Bong Joon-ho's sci-fi drama "Mickey 17" and is attached to star in the horror remake of "Possession."
He's also confirmed to reprise his role as Batman in
the highly anticipated sequel "The Batman - Part II." Lawrence, on
the other hand, has two upcoming A24 projects: the murder mystery "TheWives" and the comedic exploration of marriage "Why Don't You Love
Me?"
While "Die, My Love" has no official release
date yet, the prospect of Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence teaming up under
the direction of Lynne Ramsay is sure to generate significant buzz in the
coming months.
